Before you decide to purchase: Please consider carefully whether purchasing a Shortie Jack puppy is right for you and your family. This breed lives on average 13-18 years
and you are committing to look after your new family member for that length of time, in sickness and in health. This Loyal and loving breed can live in an apartment adapts to
any lifestyle, but loves exercise and requires mental stimulation and family companionship to remain happy and healthy. Careful consideration should be given to whether you
can provide a puppy with the daily constant attention and exercise that these little shorties require. It is highly recommended that you include puppy class as part of your initial
bonding and training. Puppy should be walked with a leash at all times and have access to a secure fenced yard.
Our Open-Door Policy: Our Brightjacks' Shorties will always have a Loving and Nurturing Family Home for Life: Under the open-door policy, the original purchaser
must make appropriate travel arrangements and pay for Health Certificate,Travel Crate and Airline Shipping Fare, for safe return of original puppy to Brightjacks' and must
return all original Registrations and agreements for the puppy in question to Brightjacks' Shortie Jacks. There will be NO REFUND of any expenses incurred by the buyer
returning a puppy or dog under the open-door policy.
Brightjacks' HEALTH - RETURN/REPLACEMENT GUARANTEE:
Your puppy has received a Florida State Certified Health Certificate, which indicates he/she has received the age appropriate vaccinations and been thoroughly checked by our
Licensed Veterinarian within 10 days prior to shipping - 30 days prior for personal pick up, for any signs of abnormalities, including but not limited to normal heart beat, correct
bite, patella’s, umbilical or inguinal Hernia's, retained testicles in males, intestinal parasites and any present or obvious signs of illnesses. We have provided the first two puppy
vaccinations and at least three worming treatments to your puppy. In the event there is an emergency, please contact your Veterinarian immediately, we would also appreciate
a call ASAP,  anytime day or night so that together we can make a decision that will be in puppies best interest.
Replacement Request Due to Medical Diagnosis: We require actual "Veterinarian provided notification" within 5 business days providing us with all Original Lab Results,
X-rays, also detailed records of Medications, Procedures that have already been administered, provided, prepared, submitted by your examining Veterinarian as of the date of
initial diagnosis, conclusive test results and proposed treatment plan. We retain the right to a second opinion: A Returned Puppy will immediately visit our personal Veterinarian
for evaluation prognosis and a decision that will ultimately be one in the best interest of the puppy/dog. If the two exams have contradicting results, a third opinion will become
necessary, with the single proposed treatment plan, mutually agreed by all Veterinarian’s.
Option #1- RETURN Original Puppy/Dog for REFUND/REPLACEMENT:  (Medical Only) No Guarantee on Conformation, Coat or Ear Set
Purchaser is responsible for return travel expenses to include Health Certificate, Travel Crate and Airline Shipping Fare, for safe return of original puppy. Original Registrations,
Purchase Agreement as well as all Veterinarian records and information pertaining to illness. Purchaser may choose either a refund for Purchase Price plus Tax paid or a
replacement puppy of equal quality or value from one of our next litters subject to non pre-reserved availability, paying the difference in price if you desire a more expensive
puppy. Replacement puppy will be shipped at Breeders expense and will receive 1 yr guarantee.
Option #2- KEEP Original Puppy/Dog and receive MEDICAL COMPENSATION -or- REPLACEMENT: (Serious Life Threatening Health Issue)
Upon receipt of all documents requested above and acknowledgement of mutual Diagnosis by at least two possibly three Veterinarians. Puppy will be retained by purchaser.
Guarantee on puppy in question will now become Null and Void. Purchaser will receive refund  per required by Fl. Law to be determined on case by case circumstances as
reimbursement for initial expenses of diagnosis + X-Rays - totaling no more than original puppy purchase price. (No Refunds on Shipping Expenses) -OR- Purchaser will
keep original Puppy + receive replacement puppy of equal quality/value from one of our next litters subject to non pre-reserved availability, paying the difference in price if
you desire a more expensive puppy. The purchaser will have first choice of any puppies that have not already been pre-reserved by families on current reservation list.
If electing to receive a replacement, puppy/adult will be shipped at Breeders expense with 1 yr. Guarantee.
PRE-PLACEMENT REFUND: Cancellation after Puppy is ready to travel and has been paid in full, will be charged a $100. Cancellation Fee. Pre-Placement Refund will be provided within 10 days.
(Florida Lemon Law):  Florida Statutes 828.2 It is the consumer's right, pursuant to section 828.29, Florida Statutes, to receive a certificate of veterinary inspection with
each dog or cat purchased from a pet dealer. Such certificate shall list all vaccines, de-worming medications administered to the animal and shall state that the animal has been
examined by a Florida-licensed veterinarian who certifies that, to the best of his knowledge, the animal was found to have been healthy at the time of the veterinary examination.
In the event that the consumer purchases the animal and finds it to have been unfit for purchase as provided in section 828.29(5), Florida Statutes the consume must notify
the pet dealer within 2 business days of the veterinarian's determination that the animal was unfit. The consumer has the right to retain, return, or exchange the animal and
receive reimbursement for certain related veterinary services rendered to the animal, subject to the right of the dealer to have the animal examined by another veterinarian.
 
Buyer's Declaration of Understanding, As Purchaser I agree to all terms and policies as stated, including but not limited to Cancellations, Refunds Replacements,
Purchase Requirements. This agreement is non-transferable and applies only to Original Buyer of puppy. All Guarantee's will become Null and Void if Original
Purchaser has SOLD/RE-HOMED or has not maintained total possession of Puppy after puppy has been Received. To have this puppy checked by a licensed
veterinarian within 5 business days from the date of receiving puppy and to continue the necessary Veterinarian recommended Care and Vaccinations required for
the puppies continued good health now and for the entire life of the dog.
I understand:  EJRTCA Registration is provided as ancestry information.  Not to be interpreted as Breeder Guarantee that puppy will mature as Breeding Quality.
NO GUARANTEE is made regarding Conformation, as it is impossible to predict future conformation when a puppy has been purchased at 8 - 10 weeks of Age.
A standing ear, body and leg freckles are cosmetic and legs that are slightly less than perfectly straight remain common in this breed and therefore will not qualify
for Return/Replacement under our purchased as Family Companion Health Guarantee. I understand there will be no replacements or refunds, unless there is a
Veterinarian proven hereditary health issue or life threatening medical reason that affects the dogs quality of life up to 1 year of age.  I understand guarantee
does not include: poisoning, accidents, neglect, malnutrition, abuse, environmental intolerances or normal puppy behavioral problems, as training varies.

Breeder's Declaration of Understanding Signature: Final signature by Breeder will be provided in your Brightjacks' Puppy Pack. By signing this agreement, I
certify that this dog/puppy is free from illness and any known genetic defects, and does not appear clinically ill or have any internal/external parasitic infestations.
All information provided is true to the best of my knowledge.
