We are proud to be part of a group of breeders that are dedicated to the continued development of the Rare and Unique Hunt Terrier here in the USA.
There are currently only a few breeders that are committed to the challenge and we look forward to future generations of Hunt Terrier enthusiast.
AHTCA Registry has been established to document pedigree's, maintain quality gene pool, educate families and guide future breeders that are destined to become interested in this
Unique Breed.
Our Goal @ Brightjacks, is to educate families of the wonderful opportunity to have the same great qualities of the well know shorty jacks, just in a different color package.
We selectively breed to produce Hunt Terriers with little to no white. We prefer our Hunt Terriers to remain small, 10.5" and under with the same Great Shorty Qualitie's.
Due to the limited gene pool, we are selectively introducing shorties back into some of the earlier imported Hunt Terrier lines.
Our goal is to improve overall quality by selectively introducing shorties that have a history of producing puppies with heavier color, better bone/substance, heavy folded ears with
expressive heads and a more relaxed mind.
